Seventy-five years of self-governance has not made any change in the lives of millions of people in India. Many look forward to the government for the betterment of their lives, but the official machinery has its own pace.
There are several individuals and organisations, which do not wait for the government to resolve societal problems. They take it upon themselves and make their contributions to change their lives and that of society. The stories of these change-makers are inspiring and motivate others to follow their steps.
We are a few senior journalists, with long and varied experience in media – broadcast, television, and digital, both in government and private, who drive this venture.

Ashok Dixit is a senior journalist-cum-editor with over three decades of professional experience. A widely travelled person, Dixit has written and edited articles on a wide range of subjects, including politics, international relations, sports, art and culture, and features. He has also conducted video-based interviews with important personalities in government and outside.
